Fabulous Fakes
Girls love their lashes and I can say nothing looks quite as stunning as gorgeous long ones. I went in search of the most fab of the fakes and I found some awesome examples of fake lashes done right and done wrong.
Yves Saint Laurent S/S 2010 runway. The designers at YSL matched the hair pieces to the lashes. All in all, it works well and looks stunning in pictures. Yves Saint Laurent kept the makeup minimal to allow the fake lashes to be the focus on the face.
Feathers arn’t just found on birds anymore. Feathers have made their way onto the faces of top models in a delicious display of color and texture. Again the makeup on the face and lips is minimal and lacks color to point all attention to the incredible eye makeup.
3 inch lashes may be a bit over the top and hard to deal with for even a minute, but surely a stunning pic. As a plus, blinking may fan your face and keep the rest of your makeup from running.
Perfect fakes to take to the club. Not only will these lashes get noticed in normal light, but black light as well. How cool is that?
Now for the not so fab fakes…
Not sure if this was the look the designer was going for. Clumped Mascara?
and this is just plain scary… it may be her screaming that makes me feel that way.
