A 3 million dollar bra? really? You would think there are more worthwhile causes to spend that kind of dough on, however, every year Victoria’s secret does pick a model to wear the diamond studded bra down the runway.
This year the model was Marissa Miller. Marissa Miller is one of the Victoria’s Secrets Angels. Along with Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Bar Rafaeli, Miranda Kerr, Emanuela De Paula, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. Actually, if you check the Forbes top earning models list, 2/3 work for VS. To models, walking the Victoria’s Secret runway pretty much says “I am a supermodel”. Wearing the 3 million dollar bra says “I beat all them bitches”.
From what I hear, no one ever really buys the bra… seriously, who wants to spend millions on a bra. So every year, the blingy bra gets de-constructed and recycled for the following year. With that much bling hanging off it, we can see why they don’t just stuff it in a drawer and start fresh.
