Burberry Goin’ 3D

February 10, 2010

burberryThe British Fashion Council recently announced that London Fashion Week this year will be streamed live online at BritishFashionCouncil.com starting Friday, February 19th. This will allow the public to view the shows up close and personal as if they were actually sitting in the front row, which Burberry did for their spring/summer 2010 show. With this announcement, Burberry head designer Christopher Bailey has decided to take a step ahead of the game and bring their show to 3-D.

On Tuesday, February 23rd, a selection of VIP guests will be given the opportunity to view Burberry’s autumn/winter 2010 show in New York, Paris, Tokyo, Dubai, and a delayed viewing in Los Angeles. These privileged individuals will be getting the first chance to view a fashion show in 3-D as well behind-the-scenes pre-show footage straight from the red carpet.

About this innovative digital show, Christopher Bailey said, “We are very excited to announce that we are hosting the first ever truly global fashion show. This unprecedented event will enable people to experience the energy and atmosphere of this event from around the world.”
